Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 October 2026
This Privacy Policy describes the information handled when you read EverydayHow or contact its publisher. It covers the current website setup. The publisher can be contacted through the Contact Us page.
Information you choose to provide
If you email EverydayHow, your message may include your email address, name, message text and any attachments you send. Providing a name is not necessary for a general article suggestion unless it is needed to answer your request.
Contact correspondence is used to understand and respond to your enquiry, investigate reported problems, consider corrections or handle a content-related request. Please provide only information relevant to the message.
Technical information
Website delivery and security systems may record information such as an IP address, browser details, requested page, time of access and error information. This information can be used to deliver pages, protect the service and investigate technical problems.
When you search the website, your search words may appear in the page address and therefore in browser history or technical access records. Do not enter passwords, account numbers or other private information into the search box.
Cookies and current services
EverydayHow has not added Google Analytics, AdSense, advertising pixels, a newsletter subscription service or an embedded contact form to this version of the website. The article pages do not provide public comment forms.
The theme itself does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Essential cookies may still be used by the hosting, security or sign-in service. On a WordPress installation, administrative sign-in uses authentication cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser; blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in features from working.
Service providers and external links
Hosting, security and email providers process information needed to perform their services. Their processing and storage locations depend on the provider used. Information may also need to be disclosed to meet an applicable legal obligation or address a legitimate security issue.
Articles may link to other websites. Following a link takes you to a separate service with its own privacy practices. An ordinary external link does not mean EverydayHow controls that service or its handling of your information.
Keeping information
Contact correspondence is kept for the time needed to deal with the enquiry and any reasonable follow-up, correction record or dispute. The appropriate period depends on the nature of the message and any applicable legal obligation. Unnecessary personal details should not be retained simply because they were included in an email.
Technical records and provider backups follow the relevant service provider’s retention arrangements. This policy does not promise that deleted information disappears immediately from every backup.
Your choices and requests
You may contact the publisher to ask about personal information you supplied, request a correction or ask for its deletion. Depending on the law that applies to you, additional rights may be available, including rights to access information, object to certain processing or complain to a relevant privacy regulator.
A request may require proportionate verification that you are the person concerned. Do not send identity documents unless they are specifically requested through an appropriate method. Some information may need to be retained where the law permits or requires it.
Children and sensitive information
EverydayHow is a general information website and does not ask children to create accounts or submit personal profiles. Please avoid sending information about children or other people that is not necessary for an enquiry. A parent or guardian concerned about a child’s information can contact the publisher.
Changes to this policy
If services such as analytics, advertising, public comments or forms are introduced, this policy will need to describe the resulting data handling. The date above identifies the latest revision of this text.
