Use a clear subject line such as “Article correction — cold coffee” or “Website issue — search results.” This helps identify what your message is about before opening any attachments.
What to include
- The title or address of the page you are referring to.
- A short explanation of the question, correction or problem.
- The step you tried and what happened, if you are reporting an issue.
- A relevant source or screenshot when it helps explain the problem.
For a display problem, mention the device and browser you used. Remove names, account details and other private information from screenshots before sharing them.
Corrections and suggestions
For a factual correction, point to the exact sentence and explain what needs changing. A link to current official documentation is particularly useful. For a new article idea, describe the task you want to complete and the part that feels confusing.
Suggestions are welcome, but sending an idea does not guarantee that an article will be published or that a particular answer will be provided.
Content and image enquiries
If your message concerns permission to reuse material, identify the text or image and describe the intended use. If you believe material on this website infringes your rights, include the relevant page address, the work you own, a brief explanation and a way to contact you.
Do not include identity documents or private legal records in an initial message. If more information is needed, the request should be limited to what is relevant.
Before sending personal information
Never send passwords, one-time login codes, payment-card details or private account access. EverydayHow does not need those details to review an article or a broken link.
Messages are handled as availability allows; no fixed response time or emergency support is offered. Read the Privacy Policy for information about contact correspondence.
